Rincon Valley's Waterfall Hike

This is the time to go see the waterfall in Rincon Valley's Sugarloaf Park

With all the recent rains, the waterfall at Sugarloaf is a fun sight behold.  The seasonal creek has swollen following the recent rains, and this waterfall is in it's full glory.

To get the the waterfall trail, go to Sugarloaf State Park located at: 2605 Adobe Canyon Road.  When you enter the park, drive up the hill about a quarter mile, and you will see a sign for the Waterfall Hike trailhead.  There are a couple of pullouts where you can park, but DO NOT PARK on the pavement.  You may get a ticket, or worse... towed.  From the trailhead, the waterfall is an easy 1/4 mile "out and back" hike. If you'd prefer a more strenuous hike, continue past the waterfall and the trail will end at the park Kiosk.  From there, just walk down the road to where you parked your car.  This becomes a 2-3 mile hike with a strenuous uphill hike.  Don't forget to pay for park admittance either at the kiosk, or using one of the "Iron Rangers"
